Dime City Sports Cards is a new venture from some Christchurch Lads who love basketball and the sports card hobby.

"Why is an Assist in Basketball called a "Dime"..?? Steve Nash once described it as originating from the days when American pay phones cost 10c (A Dime). Dropping a dime became synonymous with helping someone out. In the case of making a phone call, dropping a dime is helpful as it allows someone to make a call, or in basketball terms score a bucket."
